In spite of the significant changes in political and social fields, I believe that Civil Service is a challenging career for sincere, hardworking and committed young men and women. This is an area where one can really help the common man, the under dog who is always respected, who ever may be in power. A bright student who has a dream and is willing to work hard with single minded devotion can definitely reach his destination. I personally know that Centre for Career Development Studies has been giving proper guidance for the aspiring students during the last few years. This is a real service in a place like Trivandrum where facilities are quite limited compared with those in metro cities. I am very happy to learn that in every year at least two or three students from this centre have been able to join the Coveted Service. May the Centre continue its effort to inspire and guide the students to reach their goal

I wish the centre all success.
